HistoryEdit

FlagEdit

Western Empire flag

The flag of the Western Empire, commonly known as the Western flag, consists of 13 equal horizontal stripes, 7 red and 6 white, which are split in half by a dark blue banner stretching from the upper left corner to the lower right, creating 2 triangles. The dark blue banner is enclosed by 2 parallel white stripes, and on it is 3 yellow 5-sided stars, representing the traditional Western continents of North America, Europe and Oceania.

The design of the 13 stripes dates back to the flag of the United States of America, which also had 13 stripes, then representing the first 13 states. In the Western flag, these stripes have no symbolic meaning, other than trying to include some of the former Western flags in the common flag. Another example of this is that the blue color on the banner is about the same as the color of the flag of the former European Union, and that the 3 stars have the same design as the stars on the European flag. Some of the former Western flags are still in use as the flags of the provinces of the West: America uses the flag of the former United States, Europe the flag of the former European Union, and the Pacific the flag of former Australia.

Administrative divisionsEdit

The West is a federal union of 4 provinces, America, Latin America, Europe and the Pacific. These provinces have a degree of autonomy and can have an independent set of laws different from the other provinces' laws. However, the provinces have to follow the central laws of the Western government. Each province has its own flag, capital, official language(s) and administrative divisions, in form of districts. These districts also have some sovereignty within the provinces, but that's limited to things such as own flag, capital and official language(s).

AmericaEdit

America flag

America (French: Amérique - Spanish: América) is one of the 4 provinces of the West. Its capital is Washington D.C., the Northeast, while the largest city is New York City, the Northeast. Other cities include Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City, Calgary, Philadelphia, Indianapolis, Chicago, Jacksonville, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Phoenix and Vancouver. The official languages are English, French and Spanish, while recognized regional languages include Dutch, German and Inuktitut. The demonym is American, but the demonym Yankee is also used. It has an area of 23,011,813 km2 (8,883,568 sq. mi) and a population of more than 390 million.

The flag of America, commonly known as the American flag or the Stars and Stripes, is the same as the one the United States used when it existed. It consists of 13 equal stripes, 7 red and 6 white, and a blue field with 50 white stars in the upper left cornor. The 13 stripes used to represent the first 13 states of the United States, and the 50 stars represented the 50 states it later had. Today, the flag has no symbolic meaning, since the structure of America is slightly different than the structure of the United States. When it was taken in use as the flag of the province of America, it was decided that the flag should stay the way it was, but with lighter colors.

America is divided into 6 districts: The North, Ontario-Quebec, the West, the Midwest, the Northeast and the South.
