The Continental Indoor Football League is a future regional indoor football league that will help revive the Arena Football World. This league is also resurrected from the old CIFL that ran from 2006 to 2014. The new CIFL was founded in 2020 and will consist of teams from Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey. In 2031, the CIFL becomes a "AA League" to the AFL while the IFL becomes a "AAA League" in 2025. And the PIFL becoming Single A for the AFL in 2032.

In 2019, a young videographer with two friends formed this new league to attempt one last time to revive the indoor football atmosphere.
The 2020 season consisted of the Cincinnati Commandos, Kentucky Xtreme (Louisville), Bluegrass Warhorses (Lexington), Northern Kentucky Rivermonsters, Evansville Rage and the Dayton Silverbacks. The inaugural champions were the 10-0 Cincinnati Commandos.
