OpJy4 The United States presidential election of 2020 was held on Tuesday, November 10, 2020. It was the 59th quadrennial U.S. presidential election. Incumbent president Carly Fiorina’s cancer returned & was getting worse. Because of this, she opted not to run for re-election in 2020. Incumbent Vice President Marco Rubio took her place in the election, choosing Secretary Of Veterans Affairs Marcus Luttrell as his running mate. Democrats nominated Kanye West. West chose Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid as his running mate. Democrats, now desperate to re-gain popularity, hoped young fans of the rapper would vote for him. However, this plan backfired, as America laughed West off as a joke, leading to Rubio easily winning the election thanks to Fiorina's popularity.

Democratic primaries

With Democrats declining in popularity, they realized they needed a new plan, fast! Dean was one of the earliest candidates in the race. He hoped to redeem himself after an embarrassing scream while running in the 2004 election. However, he wasn't the only one. In a surprising turn of events, Spitzer decided to run too. He was hoping to redeem himself after a scandal that forced him to resign from then office of governor in 2007. Spitzer was the front runner until Kennedy announced she'd run. The two were tied. However, just then, Kanye West entered. Former rap star Kanye West was elected to the office of Senator of Calfornia in 2016, replacing Barbra Boxer. Many speculated he was the new face of the Democratic Party. West easily defeated Spitzer & Kennedy. Spitzer was chosen to be the nominee.

Republican primaries

President Fiorina's approval rating was now at 89%. However, due to her cancer, she could not run for re-election. Vice President Rubio decided to take her place. The only candidate who challenged Rubio wasSenatir Cruz who disagreed with his views on immigration & ga marriage. Cruz easily lost. Once Rubio one the general election he kept most of Fiorina's cabinet
