The United States of America (Or simply known as the United States or America) is a nation located in the continent of North America and is the world's largest (Or second largest depending what economist you believe) economy as well as the worlds largest Military.

Modern Day History

The US completely withdrew from Afghanistan on December 31st, 2014 ending the 13-year campaign. The US would not get involved in any Wars until the Fall of North Korea in 2021.

In 2016, the United States elected Jeb Bush to become the 45th President of the United States, This led to the rise of Left-Wing Ideologies

The United States would be one of the main catalysts in a New Cold War with the Eurasian Union and as a result, was forced to reassess its Nuclear Stockpile and its commitment to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

In 2026 the U.S. Economy crashed, causing the first depression since the 1930s. This led to the election of the first Left-Wing President in nearly 50 years.

The Economy of the United States

Before the late 1800s and from 1981 to the late 2010s, America was a Laissez-faire Capitalist economy before reverting to a mixed economy. The economy is a combination of Government Regulation and private businesses. Franklin Roosevelt in the 1930s passed a serious of economic polices known as the New Deal which caused America's Government to get more involved in the economy

In the 1980s, President Ronald Reagan began loosening the government's grip on the economy and ultimately returned america back to it's free-market roots. This became unpopular in the 2010s due to two economic recessions in a 10 year period and an increase in the Class Gap.

Things got worse when Donald Trump and Ted Cruz were each elected President. this led to the rise of Social Democratic Movements and another depression.

Politics in the United States

The United States is widely regarded as a two-party system run by the Democratic and Republican Parties. The US has gone to the left in recent years due to an increase in the class gap as a result of Reaganomics and the Deregulation during the Presidency of George W. Bush.

The Government contains an Executive, Legislative and Judicial Branch.
