The United States presidential election of 2020 was the United States' 59th quadrennial presidential election. Republican Party candidate and incumbent President John Huntsman Jr. defeated Democratic Party candidate Kasim, a U.S. Congressman from Georgia, and Congressman Jeff Landry of Lousiana. Foreign policy was a dominant theme throughout the election campaign, particularly Huntsman's reaction to the Chinese Revolution, as was the potential passing of the Democracy Amendments.

Many states changed allegiance, all to the Republican Party. Arizona, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan Minnesota, New Hampshire, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, and Wisconsin voted Democratic in 2016, but voted Republican in 2030. Alabama, Kansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and South Carolina voted Conservative in 2016 but voted Republican in 2020. In the Electoral College, Huntsman received 507 votes, Reed 26, and Landry 8. The Liberal Party Nominee, Manuel Perez, received one electoral vote for president from a faithless elector from Hawaii.
