Toronto is the name of a city located in the Canadian Province of Ontario. It is the largest city in Canada and is about 100 Miles away from Buffalo in the United States. The City sits on Lake Ontario, the namesake of the Province.
Toronto would remain one of the most populous cities in North America and would ultimately see itself become a part of a combined Metro Area, Buffalo-Toronto (7,189,700)
