Talk:RyansWorld: The Future of Voting

From Future

"This electoral reform system was started in Ontario in the year 2007 and spread throughout the world."

North America-centric and utter rubbish - it's been used in New Zealand since '96 and in Germany for decades - it's called MMP. Do your research next time. Much of your writing standard is very poor, but I will refrain from deleting stuff except for the obvious factual errors such as this. NZUlysses 11:51, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] How trebly unlikely

Now first it is highly unlikely anyone so strongly sexist as to propose that men shouldn’t be aloud to vote would be elected into government. They would need a majority vote and you simply can't get that from sexist feminists’ alone. They would get almost no votes from men (most men who could see advantages of men not being aloud to vote wouldn’t want to throw their vote away). Also not all women are feminists and this will not change, even if most are feminist their will always be some that don't agree, not to mention that not all feminists are sexist, most just want equal rights! And for enough people to be in government for this change to happen is even more unlikely.

OK lets just assume that this law is past. There would be uproar! Mass protests on a national scale, other countries intervening and trying to get the men’s vote back, groups like Amisty international launching huge campaigns due to the breath in human rights (the right to be treated equally and to right to state your opinion) heck it could even spark a civil war, and the thing is that the government would be near powerless to stop it as the vast majority of police and soldiers are male (so if it did come to war the protesters would almost certainly win)! there are so many forces working agenised it that it is near impossible.

Also all voting done electronically, I doubt it, people just wouldn’t trust it (some would but most would not) there is simply to much opportunity for fraud, the government cold easily rig the election, find out who had voted for whom, it could be hacked (and so on ). It's just so insecure as to be impractical.

Alot of the things I see in RyansWorld are just sexist and unrealistick. - JosephK19 07:43, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
