I removed some text about robots taking jobs and educational robots. I probably should have removed some text about security robots too.

The problem with the original text is that the predictions were too specific and too definite to be justifiable. It's one thing to say:

 "It is likely that robots will be used in education to reduce pupil:teacher ratios"

It's quite another to say:

 "In 2016, 98% of kids will have robot teachers and their grades will go up by 2.8%"

The definiteness and the figures in the second one are spurious and detract from the message. The 'reasoning' in the first adds to it. The second is too definite for a scenario too. In a scenario, better would be present tense (and no exact dates):

 "In spite of the high maintenance costs of physical android robots as 
 compared to simulated holographic teachers, robots gain widespread 
 popularity in schools.  Education undergoes a mini renaissance, as 
 children get more one-to-one teaching.  Working with robot teachers
 children achieve higher grades and become more dextrous - because 
 at this time robot hands still lag behind human hands - and in 
 sharing work it is the children who do the more difficult assembly 
 tasks."
