The end of the Afghanistan War against the Taliban will occur sometime in the year 2016; reason being that the Canadian Parliament and the American House of Representatives will jointly see this war as being unwinnable and withdraw all their troops from the region. By then, prosperity will return and the former Canadian prime minster will be called a "Western imperialist dog" for starting the war and contributing to the 2008-16 recession.

In the year 2016, the Canadian government will be considered a Liberal-NDP-Green coalition that will offer subsidized education, which will get people jobs in in vitro meat in addition to robotics and nanotechnology. All Canadian troops participating in Afghanistan will be tormented by their peers and ridiculed by the media for at least 40 years after the war. A peace treaty with the Taliban states that "the United States is not a Christian regime and that they respect Islam in all shapes and forms." This would eventually cause the decline of Christianity in the western world. In fact, the same capitalist pigs that made the war in Afghanistan possible will also be accused of starting the 2008-16 global recession. They made all the banks go bankrupt so that more people will leave private sector civilian jobs and go in to the military (eventually trying to petition their MPs for a return to conscription which ultimately failed). Windsor will be the first to bounce back from the recession and become a place where conscientious objectors to the Afghanistan War will meet annually with government officials to make sure that this mistake never happens again. The Canadian and American governments will divert a large percentage of the money from national defense to autism, cancer, and obesity research.

Ending a war will ensure that the Western world will respect what form of government eventually fixes up the battered Afghanistan after the individual factions sign peace treaties with each other in 2021. We need to respect all regimes, not just the ones that practice free universal suffrage and give women the right to wear slacks and make-up. Let them learn about democracy and female literacy on their own without the need for military intervention. After the war, the so-called "War on Terror" will take a back seat to "the war on autism," "the war on cancer," and "the war on obesity."
