Matriarchy is the opposite of patriarchy, which is currently the predominant form of society in most Terran nations. By the year 2105, Terran society will become matriarchal and united in a single global nation called the United States of Earth. Global warming will be halted by an atmosphere defense barrier that was erected in the year 2057 on the Moon in order to prevent harmful rays from entering the Earth from the Sun.

[edit] Matriarchal Marriage

A matriarchal marriage is a marriage where the wife is considered to be the head of the household and the sole source of employment-related income. Also in a matriarchal marriage, the husband takes the wife's surname, i.e. Ms. and Mr. Jane Doe instead of Mr. and Mrs. John Smith.

The first recorded matriarchal marriage was during the year 2001 in Ohio where Joseph Harkless and Christina Ellison became Ms. and Mr. Christina Ellison. By the year 2030, all married persons under the age of 35 will be expected to be in a matriarchal marriage, including the illustrious Dr. Marlene VanGoethem, a scientist who is discovering ways to terraform Mars and Venus.

[edit] Matriarchal Society

By the 22nd century, a matriarchal society will be a world-wide federal government run completely by women and men will have no civil rights (except to donate their semen for use in artificial wombs to breed children) as punishment for declaring thousands of "uncivilized conflicts between fellow human beings". This movement started in the year 2001 when the world's first matriarchal marriage was historically recognized around the world. Ms. and Mr. Christina Ellison would later become trailblazers to marriages across the 21st century and beyond.

Since only a patriarchal society would be neo-puritanical, a matriarchal society would pose no restrictions on sexuality or dating, and would be considered to be libertarian by late 20th century standards. Also in a matriarchal society, adolescence doesn't exist and children become adults the moment that they start to ejaculate semen or have their first menstrual period. Only a patriarchal society would artificially extend childhood by imposing an age of majority on its citizens. Matriarchy is better than patriarchy because restrictions in a patriarchal society are 10 times more oppressive then for adults and twice as oppressive then they are for military soldiers and convicted felons.

It all started in the 1950s with an advertising soft called "rock and roll music." Teenagers could no longer be trusted with full adult rights, so the patriarchal Establishment created a developmental step between childhood and adulthood, and declared it to be a "dangerous and hormonal period of time." In addition to a matriarchal society, world beat music will also help the 13-20 year olds gain the enlightenment and maturity needed to gain full adult rights without waiting years of paternalistic brainwashing by the governments and the school board.

The most important thing to know that in a matriarchal society, there would be no terrorism, wars, homeless people, crime, poverty, obesity, greed, slothfulness, hate, and other things that drive a patriarchal society. Ethanol and solar power would be used instead of fossil fuels and all motorized vehicles will be driverless. Alcohol would be banned permanently because drinking alcoholic beverages causes violence to the user's body.

The following things would be abolished in a matriarchal society:

  • all forms of alcoholic beverages - this would include champagne and wine as well as beer, whiskey, vodka, etc.
  • gambling casinos
  • lottery tickets
  • housing owned by private individuals or corporations(all housing in a matriarchal society would be funded by the government and it would be rent and mortgage free)
  • junk food
  • fossil fuels
  • uneducational toys
  • beef

[edit] Patriarchal Society

A patriarchal society is the direct opposite of a matriarchal society. By the year 2100, all patriarchal societies will be abolished along with the Christianity, Judaism, and Islam it helped to develop. Patriarchal societies started in Western civilization when men started to herd and slaughter cattle in enclosed walls. In the past, children were introduced to their world by their father’s surname and not their mother’s and the real estate of a marriage were considered to belong exclusively to the husband, not the wife. In addition to all this, a patriarchal society encourages husbands to steal if they cannot afford it and desperately need it instead of allowing the wife to make more money than the husband.

As of a result of a matriarchal society, men would no longer be allowed to own property as early as the 2020s and cattle farms will cease to exist by the 2040s for three reasons:

  • 1. Cattle farms are a by-product of a patriarchal society.
  • 2. Most women (even amazon feminists) are not fond of killing live cattle to feed the obese masses of the world that should eat less red meat and more fish, soy milk, and vegetables. However, some feel that using live cows is still acceptable and turn their "cattle farms" into "organic milk farms."
  • 3. Cows (but not bulls) achieve sentience and are given basic political rights.

Also a product of patriarchy is adolescence itself. Prior to the 1950s, teenagers were treated like miniature adults and were given responsibilities society reluctantly gives to 24-year-olds today. However due to advertising and the media, teenagers are being repressed by the patriarchal governments of the world. If teenagers were given the same rights as people who are over the "age of majority," then there would be no delinquency in this world.

[edit] Ms. and Mr. Christina Ellison

Ms. and Mr. Christina Ellison are a model couple of the future. They are united through a matriarchal marriage and Christina is considered the head of the household. It is unknown whether this couple currently has children or not. In 2001, the marriage caused controversy and the groom's name wasn't changed over to Ellison until 6 months after the wedding day. Mr. Christina (Joseph) Ellison is assumed to be a househusband while Ms. Christina Ellison probably has a well-paying job that allows her to dominate the household affairs.

In the future, all women will be liberated women, and expect men to take their last name. We are approaching a maternalistic future where men are prohibited from voting, running for political office, and owning real estate, and this is one of the first steps towards this brave, new world.

[edit] Women's Liberation Movement

Since the 1960s, the women's liberation movement has struggled to give women the same civil rights as men. Whether it be voting rights in a third world country or equal employment opportunities, feminists have lead the way for women to become corporate executive, lawyers, and even sports athletes.

The logo of the women's liberation movement is a female gender symbol with a fist inside of it. Television shows in the late 1960s and early 1970s have made comedic gestures about women's lib, but later shows have accepted it into their daily life. Some women's liberation movement people even believe that God is female.

The future of women's lib is bright. Although temporarily blamed for the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, New York, U.S.A., feminists are succeeding in slowly transforming the world into a matriarchal and maternalistic world where a man's place is to be obedient to his wife and to be a househusband in the kitchen and home. Eventually, men will be stripped of their rights to vote, to run for political office, and to own land and real estate because of their warmongering ways.

[edit] Feminist

A feminist is a strong assertive liberated woman who fights for either gender equality or female supremacy, depending on her agenda and upbringing. Eventually, feminism will lead to a matriarchal society run by a single worldwide federal government as all feminists despise war as a patriarchal atrocity. Feminists are usually found in metropolitian areas, in the more liberal surburban areas, and rarely found in rural areas. At the end of the 21st century, feminism will triumph over male chauvinism as men become simple breeders and househusbands, and cannot own property, run for political office, or even vote.

[edit] Liberated Woman

A liberated woman is a woman who is empowered through the women's liberation movement to cease participating in traditional gender roles. She refuses to shave her legs or her underarms. The liberated female also participates and watches sports traditionally for males. She does not consider herself a lady but "one of the guys."

She never uses the title "Mrs." or "Miss." Instead, she uses the title "Ms." even when she is married through a matriarchal marriage. These types of women are found in North America and Europe where society's enforcement of traditional gender roles is lax.

In the future, more and more women will be liberated and enjoy the luxuries once enjoy exclusively by males.

[edit] Traditional Gender Roles

Traditional gender roles - patriarchy - has been the norm since the beginning of civilization, although there has been exceptions to it. In the late 20th century, people began questioning traditional gender roles. As the 21st century progresses, traditional gender roles will be slowly reversed, as more liberated women enter leadership and high-paying professional positions workforce and househusbands stay at home to provide the neccesary services that their successful professional spouses require. More housekeeping roles will eventually be assigned to males as society evolves into a worldwide federal government with a matriarchal society.

Traditional gender roles have resulted in a gender barrier which exists solely to discourage women from training and eventually acquiring well-paying "traditional male jobs" (electricians, lawyers, doctors, politicians, businesswomen, corporate executives, professional athletes, etc.)

[edit] Evolution of a Woman's Standing in a Marriage

  • Roman Empire - Jane, wife of Johannes
  • Medieval Times/Renaissance - Mistress John Smith
  • 1850s-1970s - Mrs. John Smith
  • present - either Mrs. John Smith, Mrs. Jane Smith, or Ms. Jane Doe
  • future - Ms. Jane Doe

[edit] Evolution of a Man's Standing in a Marriage

  • Roman Empire - Johannes Caesar
  • Medieval Times/Renaissance - Master/Mister John Smith
  • 1850-1970s - Mr. John Smith
  • present - either Mr. John Smith or Mr. Jane Doe
  • future - Mr. Jane Doe

[edit] Women in Sports

The future of women in sports will be bright indeed. By the 2050s, women will have broken the gender barrier in many professional sports leagues traditionally for men only, including NASCAR. As the world becomes more matriarchal and maternalistic, more men will give up their pro athlete career when they marry a female celebrity or pro athlete. Men will declare their retirement from professional sport upon marriage rather than their late thirysomething or fortysomething years. An early but proud example of breaking the gender barrier occured in the year 2026, with Mary Elizabeth Holmes being drafted by the Major League Baseball team Houston Astros in the 3rd round by a scout who accidentally went to a women's baseball match instead of a critical men's baseball championship match.

The scout managed to keep his job, and surprisingly enough, the Houston Astros managed to win 3 pennants with Ms. Holmes before she was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays during the spring of 2030 to the Toronto Blue Jays in exchange for their 1st and 2nd round draft picks.

[edit] Househusband

A househusband is a husband who choses to stay at home with the children while his wife works for a living. This is becoming more common in Western civilization as we glide through the 21st century idealism of a matriarchial marriage. While the idea is repressed more in Japan, China, Taiwan, and Korea, an increasing amount of men in those countries are also becoming househusbands. Househusbands are also known as stay-at-home fathers, or "Mr. Moms."
