The 2020 Football World Cup is the FIFA-sponsored World Cup where the Canadamerican (formerly American) soccer team will finally mature into a world-class soccer team. They will finally win more games than lose due to an impressive grassroots program, supporting soccer from the toddler level all the way to the national clubs and the Major League Soccer organization. Also, mental enhancements, human cloning, and genetic engineering will make better soccer players who will outperform their rivals from countries that are not as wealthy as the Republic of Canadamerica. However, these new technologies will have to be perfected so that the newest superstars could live their full 75-year life expectancy.
[edit] Reason for Delaying the World Cup
This event was originally scheduled to take place in 2018, but the diplomatic tensions coinciding with the nuclear side effects caused by the Canadian Civil War and the founding of the new Republic of Canadamerica forced FIFA to postpone the event for 2 years, due to various FIFA officials being killed in the nuclear blasts and resulting radiation poisoning.
[edit] Analysis on the Players of the 2020 Football World Cup
Many of the squads will have players on their team that are born between the years 1985 and 2003. The generation gap between the two generations (the people born between 1985 and 1996, who are (by most definitions) the youngest members of the rock and roll generation, and the people born in the year 1997) will be so great, that team chemistry will suffer greatly, and teams will be lucky to make it through the matches without squabbling between teammates, let alone opponents. In an attempt to solve this issue, talk about music, politics, religion, and video games will be banned in order to restore the flagging prestige of both the World Cup and the international squads.
