The Samsung Home Entertainment System was released in 2063 in Korea, Japan, North America, Europe, Brazil and Vietnam. Attemps to release the system in the Eurasian Union and Puerto Rico failed due to cultural misunderstandings and general ignorance about video games that endured during that era.

Puerto Rico and the Eurasian Union got the upgraded version of the Samsung Home Entertainment System once the world becomes united under the United States of Earth by the early 22nd century.

Summary

The first games to come out for the SHES were Saints Row XVI, Gran Turismo 24, The Sims X, MLB 64: The Show and Grandpa Sonic the Hedgehog's Adventures; which involved Sonic the Hedgehog helping his grandson Supersonic the Hedgehog on some epic adventures. Photo apps were released for this console along with movie watching apps, the official Wikipedia app and even an app to play games from any lineup from the Atari 2600 to the PlayStation 4 (with a pay-per-play model like that used in most hotel rooms in the early 21st century).

Samsung developed TVs at first but soon they developed DVD players and eventually refrigerators. During the 2020s and 2030s, Samsung operated their own wedding halls, casinos and even chartered schools in Eastern Asia. While the wedding halls and chartered schools brought profits to Samsung, the casinos were a rather dodgy business and they didn't last 20 years. The Samsung Home Entertainment System combines the small size of a Roku 3 streaming player with the power and processing speed of 50 different PlayStation 4 machines working in perfect unison.

After bringing the world out of the Gaming Depression, Samsung had to develop monitor technology from scratch as television had become illegal in most of the world by 2040. Good-paying jobs were created so that people could play video games again without needing to borrow the monitor from their personal computer. Most elderly people confused the SHES for the old SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) and kept asking when Super Mario World 3 and Super Mario World 4 were coming out for the "new system."

While the Assburger Reviews guy (a.k.a. Dr. Danglers, MyAssHasWorms) would pass away from dementia before being able to play this console, a lot of the old arcade games that he reviewed on his YouTube account were ready for download/purchase.
