RyansWorld: Entertainment
From Future
In the future, entertainment will consist of movie theaters, home game consoles, virtual reality arcade games, and other forms of electronic stimuli. Television (terrestrial, cable, and satellite) will be banned in the year 2040 due to vulgar content. Other forms of entertainment that will exist in this physically active (and more interesting world) will include:
- professional wrestling
- video arcades
- educational toy robots
- Disneyland
- Walt Disney World
- Euro Disney
- Tokyo Disneyland
- Niagara Falls
- cruise ships
Because people won't have to worry about the "hidden costs" of television, they can go outside of their houses more often and watch sporting events live instead of having the networks and the cameramen dictate how exciting the action really is. The world of entertainment after the worldwide television ban will be more social and less introverted. Real grandeur comes from being physically active and at the ideal weight for your height, not having more than 500 channels of entertainment to make a person lazy and slothful.
