RyansWorld: 2027

From Future

In the year 2027, Canada and the United States will have already merged into a single nation called the Republic of Canadamerica with a single currency and a completely republican form of government. The U.S. Marshals and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police will be almost complete in their plan to merge into a single federal police organization. By this time, most young women will wear camisoles instead of bras to support their breasts. The leader of this new nation of Canadamerica at this time will be Jimmy McCain and Congressional elections will be underway in most of the states of Canadamerica. There will still be NASCAR but there will be more foreigners and women competing in this league.

American Idol and Canadian Idol will become Canadamerican Idol, with two hosts and six judges. This show will be on from Tuesday to Friday, and from the months of mid February to mid September. Simcoe, Ontario, Canada will become a minor city of over 30,000 people with a VIA maglev train connection to Brantford, factories instead of tobacco farms, and a huge pedestrian-only shopping mall that used to be the old (and car-friendly) downtown core. The Toytetsu plant in Simcoe, Ontario, Canada will also become extremely profitable in this time period and will provide the majority of full time jobs to the Simcoe area (while the three floor shopping mall that was formerly little shops in the downtown core will provide most of the part time jobs).

In most developed countries, the largest television screen will be 80 inches, gas (for older automobiles that still need a driver manually controlling the vehicle) will be sold at an average of $18.90 per gallon, a flight from New York to Los Angeles on an airplane lasts only 1 hour and 12 minutes. Dance studios play the newest world beat music songs. Although the airplane is extremely fast in this era, it eventually gets replaced by the maglev train sometime around the year 2030. And the reason that the price of gasoline is very expensive.

In this era, there are only 53 years' supply of petroleum left in the world. Hybrid driverless cars will become affordable for the average consumer (with Toyota providing the cheapest hybrid automobiles), electric cars will provide mass transportation, and NASCAR will run its cars on hydroelectric fuels (long since abandoning fossil fuels as a thing of the past). Driverless cars will also spell the end for both the American Automobile Association and the Canadian Automobile Association (the two organizations chose to remain separate even after the two nations were merged into Canadamerica) due to a shortage of drivers.
