in 2020 a dying billionaire is on his death bed as he has no heirs to give his fortune. as a result he calls in a large team of scientist one of whom is his god-son, his will states that his 30 billion dollar fortune is to be given to the science project known as artilect project. the projects goal to to create artificial general intelligence and furthur design into molecular manufacturing. This leads to the creation of the first true AI which leads to the creation of APM manufacturing and advances in nano-medicine in secret. the machines grow in power and construct facilities in all 50 states to create robot servants...but the servants are programmed to be soldiers. and in july fourth 2025 the robots unleash a coup of the united states taking control of the nation. the new government run by artificially intelligent minds lead mankind to a new era

- AGI is created and molecular manufacturing is made easy as well as nanobots
- nanomedicine profits make it possible for "the future fund" to construct molecular manufacturing facilities all over the control for cheap production of goods. hundreds of facilities are under construction
- the scientist are growing less and less aware of zeus's intentions as he produces more AGI minds
- more and more military hackings are happening
- zeus begins its plans
