Mars is the fourth planet from the sun and the second closest planet to Earth. It is the only planet in the solar system in which terraforming activities are being held, and was the first planet for humans to land in 2029. The planet is currently under the process of colonization by the Western Federation, the Chinese Federation, and India, while the entirety of the international community cooperates in Martian resource exportation and importation, as well as supplying colonists on the surface. The population of Mars, as of 2166, is 995,843, yet upwards of 6,000,000 are planned to establish presence by the end of the century.
As of the year 6029, Mars population is 1,228,720,719
