Everyone knows about the H1N1 pandemic, or swine flu, as it was called. What would happen, if this virus mutated? And become much, much more deadly.......
June 12th, 2012- A group of French scientists from Paris, France research the now died down H1N1 virus. One scientist was not properly sanitized, and came into contact with the virus.
June 13th, 2012- One French scienctist, Jeanne Dupreax, misses work the next day due to a sickness. His wife tends to his sickness, unknowingly contracting the virus herself.
June 15th, 2012- Jeanne's wife goes shopping the next day, and spreads the virus among the people in the store, unbeknowest to her.
June 24th, 2012- News headlines are made across France, as the H1N1 virus spreads among the population of France.
June 30th, 2012- The H1N1 virus mutates, changing itself to having the deadliness of smallpox, after fusing together with someone who had a dormant smallpox virus inside of her.
July 4th, 2012- The virus has spread to the UK, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxemborg, Spain, Andorra, and Italy. People began dying in the hundreds.
July 10th, 2012- Like all diseases, it goes largely unnoticed by most of the countries of the world. Only a few reporters make stories on the virus. By now, it has spilled over into Denmark, Norway, Austria and Poland.
July 14th, 2012- Attempts at quarantining citizens are made, however, these efforts are futile.
July 15th, 2012- The European Union meets in emergency session to discuss the advancing virus. They decide to shut down all borders, effectively destroying the European Union.
July 17th, 2012- Several people who were supposed to be sterilized accidentally board an airplane, bound to Rio de Janerio. They arrive in Brazil, and are immediately quarantined.
July 18th, 2012- After an airport worker came home that day, he reported in to work sick. He was sent home, however, the damage was done. People at the airport became infected at a rapid pace.
July 21st, 2012- The airport is forced to shut down after the virus spread so much that it was effectively condemned. By now, the virus is radiating outwards from Rio do Janerio.
August 1st, 2012- After several attempts to stop the virus, the newly named H1N1X8 reached Brasilia and spilled over into Paraguay and Argentina.
August 2nd, 2012- By now, over 3 million people have died worldwide. Confirmed infections in Uruguay and in the countries of former Yugoslavia.
August 8th, 2012- By now, world governments are getting seriously worried, and are attempting to close borders, to no avail. Ports and airports remain open.
August 14th, 2012- Chile, Guyana, Suriname, and Peru in South America report infections, while Greece, Turkey, Morocco, and the rest of the Balkan peninsula all report infections.
August 16th, 2012- The H1N1X8 spreads upwards into Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezula, while in Europe, it begins to attack Russia and Norway, Sweden and Finland.
August 20th, 2012- The world is paralyzed in fear as the H1N1X8 continues to spread across the world, killing anyone who in the way of the deadly virus. Governments begin to lose control of their people, and Ecuador is the first to declare martial law.
August 22th, 2012- The virus begins to creep up Central America, silently infecting and eventually killing those in Costa Rica, Panama and Nicaragua. In Europe, any countries not infected yet fall to the H1N1X8.
August 27th, 2012- People across the world are calling for help, but the remaining are too scared to help those in need. Those infected, are merely left to die. The virus finally ends up in the place it had once began, as it reaches Mexico. Russia is slammed by the virus, and the virus begins to head southwards for the Middle East.
August 30th, 2012- With the United States of America having all borders, airports, ports and any entrances to the outside world shut down, they feel safe. They will remain safe. For now. The situation in the Old World gets worse as the H1N1X8 reaches Iran and the Transcaucausian region. By now, the death toll has escalated to 900 million people.
September 2nd, 2012- Turkey, Israel, Lebanon, Syria and Iraq have confirmed infections, but they can do nothing to stop the rampaging virus.
September 4th, 2012- An infected Mexican sneaks over the border, and enters into the state of Arizona. By the time he is discovered, it is too late. The virus has returned, and with a vegance as the Southwest is turned into a land devoid of life.
September 7th, 2012- The people of the Middle East cry for help, but no one comes to save them. The disease begins to ease into Egypt and into Afghanistan and Central Asia. In Russia, the disease begins to head east across Siberia. The frozen climate helps to stop the virus from entering, however.
September 10th, 2012- The death toll is now 1.5 billion people, almost 1/4 of the world population. After entering and destroying Afghanistan, it crosses over into Pakistan and Turkmenistan. People die in the hundreds of thousands.
September 13th, 2012- The virus gears up as it finally enters the most densely populated places on the planet: China and India. The Communist government of China cannot do anything to stop the virus, as a coup d'etat is staged and the Communist government is toppled. However, The new democratic government cannot do anything, either.
September 14th, 2012- By now, most of the world's countries have declared martial law, and are rationing masks, bottled water, etc. The states of California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, and Oregon are declared forbidden. Meanwhile, China and India are slammed by the deadly virus, with people dying in the millions.
September 17th, 2012- The death toll is 3 billion, with only a few couple hundred thousand living in China and India, each. Siberia is considered a safe zone, as the virus is unable to survive in the frozen tundra. The people of Tibet also live, with the huge Himalayas blocking the virus from entering. Nearly all of Asia and Europe have been infected.
September 22th, 2012- The virus is spreading faster and faster. All states west of the Mississippi River are declared forbidden, and the virus reaches Canada, as well as the Carribean. People begin to die in each of these regions.
September 24th, 2012- The H1N1X8 begins the relentless push west and south through Africa, taking out Sudan and Chad first, with Egypt already ravaged by the virus. It is now discovered that some have developed a resistance to the disease.
September 30th, 2012- The virus heads south faster than west, and it reaches the Ethiopian-Somalian border. Out west, it begins to infect Nigeria.
October 2nd, 2012- In the United States, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, and Minnesota are declared forbidden.
October 6th, 2012- The virus continues to push southward, and has reached the Democratic Republic of the Congo by now. The westward push has placed the H1N1X8 at Mali.
October 10th, 2012- All countries in Africa north of the Congo are now effectively forsaken wastelands, only inhabited by a few of the mysterious Resisters, as they are now called.
October 12th, 2012- The people of Siberia and Tibet hold out, as well as the countries in the Pacific Ocean, who are too isolated to become infected. Wisconsin, Mississippi and Arkansas are declared forbidden. Angola becomes infected.
October 14th, 2012- Zambia and Zimbabwe become infected, and Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, and Michigan are declared forbidden.
October 20th, 2012- Alabama, Florida, Ohio and Tennessee are delcared forbidden. Mozambique, Malawi, Namibia, and Swaziland become infected.
October 25th, 2012- South Africa and Lesotho become infected, as the whole of the African continent is now infected by the H1N1X8.
October 31st, 2012- For most Americans, it is not a happy Halloween, as kids are not trick-or-treating this year. They are hiding in their homes, hoping the disease would come get them next. The death toll is now over 5 billion people. The states of Georgia and Maine are declared forbidden.
November 3rd, 2012- The only safe zones on Earth from the H1N1X8 are Siberia, Tibet, and most of the states along the Atlantic Ocean in the USA. An obscure American scientist discovers something that could help make a vaccine, but he is killed by the disease before he could tell about his work.
November 10th, 2012- South Carolina, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts are all declared forbidden.
November 15th, 2012- North Carolina, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Vermont are declared forbidden. The only states left are Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, New York and Pennsylvania.
November 19th, 2012- Virginia, West Virginia and New York are declared forbidden. New York City is lost to the deadly H1N1X8, and it is now at the capital's doorstep.
November 23th, 2012- Huge efforts are made to make sure that the virus avoids DC, but it's too little, too late. DC is declared forbidden, as people beginning dying in the thousands. The capital is evacuated to Trenton, New Jersey.
November 28th, 2012- Maryland and Delaware are declared forbidden.
December 4th, 2012- The U.S. government pleads for help from the people of Siberia and Tibet, however, they refuse to, in fear that they too, will get infected by the H1N1X8 virus.
December 10th, 2012- Pennsylvania is delcared forbidden. The only U.S. state remaining is New Jersey.
December 12th, 2012- For the USA, doomsday came 9 days too soon as people in New Jersey began to get infected.
December 16th, 2012- The only people left in New Jersey afterwards were a Senator, a Congressman, and a lawyer. They all are Resisters.
December 20th, 2012- The 3 people scavange up what they can, and they leave to Tibet and Siberia, on a plane.December 21st, 2012- Doomsday. The Mayans were right. And wrong. It was the end of days. But, it was for most, not all. The world population is 1,000. All people who had survived the H1N1X8 were Resisters, and they were gathered to Lhasa, Tibet. From there, the 1,000 people, the population of Earth, were going to build, re-build, and make the world a better place than what it once was. From Tibet and Siberia, they began to settle the immediate areas, while 200 were sent back to the former USA. But, instead of founding a new nation, they formed a new world.
