The 2028 United States Presidential Election took place in November 2028. When Jimmy Carter was elected in 2024, he ended up dying in his term. His Vice President, Meghan Markle became the Second Female President and the first President who was a consort to a member of the British Royal Family. The World has gone into Chaos, Jackie Chan has formed the NazBol Empire in China, Kim Jong-un formed the Pyongyang Colonial Empire, conquering Kenya, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, all of Australia, and even Finland. They also controlled Barcelona in Spain for a while. Kim Jong-un abandoned Communism and opted for an Imperial Empire, similar to Japan in World War II. The Pyongyang Colonial Empire also became the most powerful nation in the world since Europe fell into Anarchy. India became a Communist Utopian Society and Pakistan became a Neo-Fascist Islamist Monarchy with many Bolsheviks living in it. The United States saw Jimmy Carter as the best President as he gave so many great things to the nation such as being 103 and still living and officially building a border wall on Canada, even though he didn't want too. When Carter died, Markle took over the Presidency and most of the United States was in fear that the exiled British Royal Family that was staying in California with Prince Harry and Markle would soon take over the U.S. and make it a British Colony, since the United Kingdom was absorbed into Anarchy as did the rest of Europe. Russia and the United States were still at a Cold War, however Vladimir Putin died and was replaced with the Final Boss of Chess. Russia only had Siberia left since the rest of Russia West of the Urals was completely in Anarchy. the United States, Pyongyang, the Nazbol Empire, Russia, and the newly formed Weeaboo Republic (AKA Japan) were the only major superpowers in the world since Iran was nuked twice and Pakistan and India ended up nuking each other in April 2028. Australia was also an emerging country after breaking it's usual democratic standards by invading New Zealand. The Empire of Australia was formed and a Weeaboo Revolution occurred in Japan. In the United States, Markle easily won the Democratic Nomination. The Rise of the American Solidarity, Constitution, Prohibition, Moderate, Progressive, Green, and Libertarian parties also first occurred. The Republicans had a good chance of winning since they were the frontrunners for the election. The Republicans Nominated Kanye West with Boxer Mike Tyson as his running mate. In total, there was TWELVE major political parties looking for the presidency. This was the most amount of major political parties in an election in the history of the United States. Each of the Twelve candidates also won at least one state.
