Los Angeles would suffer great economic turmoil towards the end of the 2020s, caused by job loss, income inequality, homelessness, and a slew of past economic and social issues, the city would near bankruptcy in the 2030s.
Los Angeles would host the 2028 Olympics, the 2026 World Cup, and the 2044 Olympics along with San Diego and Tijuana.
Los Angeles saw its city damaged by a 9.0 Earthquake in 2050, around the same time, a flood also caused much of the city to sink beneath the waves, and more than 100,000 were killed.

Los Angeles would see two football teams returm in 2016. They would play at the LA Coliseum until 2018 when they moved to a new stadium about 19 miles outside the city itself.
