Hybridization in a Box:[]
The Hybrid Conversion System was mass produced and sold to large chain auto-shops in 2019. Market research from the big auto makers, showed that people wanted to keep their old cars, because they still could not afford the higher end hybrid models. Though they were getting cheaper. Hybrid cars were still not cheap enough for the general public but by 2017 that all changed with the introduction of the Wilson Conversion System!
The Hybrid Conversion System was initially sold as a $10,000 stand alone item inside car dealerships and auto repair shops. You could also choose to convert any new car that you bought off the lot for $15,000.
Chemical Repairmen:[]
Due to the success of the Wilson Conversion System, a whole new type of job was created. In order to install them and make sure that they operated efficiently on the road, local repair shops needed to employ people who had knowledge of the chemical components of the process. Not just the engineering concepts. These chemical repairmen were usually blue collar workers and ended up being a great starting job for Chemists directly out of college.
200 MPG[]
Wilson Conversion Systems, was instrumental in getting the Mile Per Gallon rate on all road worthy cars higher than ever before in recorded history. The Conversion Process that they patented made it possible for cars to go farther and longer. In the early 21st century hybrid cars reached barely 70 MPG. By 2050 the conversion process more than doubled the MPG rate!This process changed the very basics of the inside of the automobile itself! It also paved way for the modular DIY vehicles of the future.
Diverless Conversion:[]
Ever adapting to consumer demands, Wilson Conversion Systems, soon started playing around with converting manual driving cars to automatic driving cars. In 2035 the Government was pushing for smart road systems, interconnected highways, Highways in the sky, and a system to control all of this. Wilson Conversion, won the contract to set up the future of the American Highyway System. The conversion process that they had perfected made them a more powerful dynasty than Henry Ford and The Rockefellers combined!
Lower Driving Age:[]
The Wilson family (who owned Wilson Conversion Systems) became very influential in politics and their main success was getting the Transportation Union to lower the driving age to 14 thanks to advancements in smart road technology and eventually when cars became completely autonomous in the 2050s.
Hover Conversion[]
In the 2070s, Wilson Conversion Systems started converting road cars to hover cars! The Hover Conversion System was initially sold as a $40,000 stand alone item inside car dealerships and auto repair shops. You could also choose to convert any new car that you bought off the lot for $50,000.
