Binyamin "Benny" Gantz (June 9, 1959 - ) is the current Chief of General Staff for the Israeli Defense Forces, and led the Israeli Defense Force through the Gaza War, and became the supervisor for the reconstruction and annexation of the Gaza Strip, West Bank, and Golan Heights.
Gantz led the Israeli Defense Force into Syria after the Arab Republic of Syria declared war on Israel, after it declared it would support Saudi Arabia on November 4, 2012, and declared war on Iran the same day.
