World War 3

World War III (WWIII or WW3), also known as the Third World War, or the Third Great War, was a global war originating in Middle East that lasted from 14 May 2048 to 14 May 2055. More than millions of military personnel, including millions of Europeans, were mobilised in one of the largest wars in history. Over millions of combatants and over millions of civilians died as a result of the war, including the victims of a number of genocides, a casualty rate exacerbated by the belligerents' technological and industrial sophistication, and the tactical stalemate caused by gruelling trench warfare. It was one of the deadliest conflicts in history, and paved the way for major political changes, including revolutions in many of the nations involved.

The war drew in almost all the world's economic powers, assembled in two opposing alliances: the Coalition of Israel (with the State of Israel as the leader nation) versus the Alliance of Syria (with Syria as the leader nation). Unfortunately, the United States of America was a member of the Neutrals alongside the United Kingdom and the Holy See, it did not join either the Coalition of Israel nor the Alliance of Syria, as the United States of America had grown tired of wars, was against the terms of both the Coalition of Israel and the Alliance of Syria. These alliances were organized and expanded as their allied nations entered the war on their behalf.

The trigger for the war was the State of Israel declared war for the rights to own both the Gaza Strip and the West Bank for the State of Israel on 14 May 2048. This set off a June crisis when Syria delivered an ultimatum to the State of Israel, and entangled international alliances formed over the previous decades were invoked. Within weeks, the economic powers were at war and the conflict soon spread around the almost around the world.
