The Union of Eurasian Republics (Or Simply Known as the Eurasian Union) is a nation located in the continents of Europe and Asia. It is the world's second largest economy and is the leading country of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. The Eurasian Union was established by Vladimir Putin, who hoped to form a world power.
In 2014, the Eurasian Economic Community was established but the formal Eurasian Union did not come to be until 2019. Putin established an EU-Style Union at first, but in 2019, Putin Declared the Union of Eurasian Republics, as the War in Ukraine and the Obama and Trump Sanctions crippled Russia's economy. When the Union was proclaimed, Four Members made it up at first, but more would join by 2040.
Coups in Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan caused the nation to become incorporated into the Eurasian Union. Uzbekistan joined in 2035.
Eurasia's Government was officially a Unitary Republic partially modeled after the Soviet Structure as well as the Russian Federation. The Executive Branch consisted of the President, who served as the Head of State, and the Prime Minister, who is appointed by the President. The Eurasian Legislature, The Supreme Council the is Bicameral with two chambers. The Upper Chamber, the Union Duma, and the Lower Chamber, Congress of People's Deputies.
Individual Republics did have some power, but only granted by the Supreme Council. There were 14 Republics in total, with their own administrative divisions and both a Minister, and local assembly.
A conspiracy run by the Communist Party of Eurasian Union was working to transform Eurasia into a communist economy. The transition was slow and by 2060, Eurasia did indeed become Communist. The slow transition which lasted thirty years was complete. the Second Cold War was essentially over due to a worldwide cooling of tensions.
Soviet Nationalism was hailed in Eurasia and many Soviet Holidays, traditions and ideas were reinstated. By 2060, Eurasia was a communist state and had purged itself of "Western Materialism." In 2045, Memorials honoring the former Soviet Leaders were constructed in Moscow.
