The 2020 Democratic presidential primaries and caucuses were the process by which voters of the Democratic Party chose its nominee for President of the United States in the 2020 U.S. presidential election. Incumbent President Hillary Clinton won the Democratic Party nomination by securing more than the required 2383 delegates after a series of primary elections and caucuses. She was formally nominated by the 2020 Democratic National Convention on September 9th, 2020, in New York.

Due to Hillary Clinton already being president, she was largely unopposed in the primaries.
