Daitaro Sato, (30 November 1988 – 24 January 2059) was a Japanese politician and statesman known for his leadership of Japan during the Flood War. He is widely regarded as one of the great wartime leaders. He served as prime minister longer than any Prime minister since Junichiro Koizumi (from 2028-2036), and was the first Prime Minister of Japan to serve since the death of the Yamato Dynasty. A noted statesman and orator, Sato was also an officer in the Japanese Self Defense Force, a historian, writer, and an economist. To date, he is the second Japanese prime minister to have received the Nobel Peace Prize, and the first Japanese citizen to be recognized as an honorary citizen of the United States.
