The China Democratic League (CDL), often referred as the Chinese League for Democracy, or simply the Democrats are a major political party in the People's Republic of China. They are second largest party in the National People's Congress as well as the Hong Kong and Taipei Legislative Councils. They are one of 2 official opposition groups to the Communist Party, however due to their small size in the NPC they have not been able to effect any change in mainland China.

There primary goal is to establish democratic system similar to that of Hong Kong in mainland China.

Although they have experienced some growth in recent years, many in mainland China still see their goals as counterproductive and unpatriotic.
