In 2020, Adult Swim was spun off into its own channel, like Boomerang. Cartoon Network once again became a 24-hour kids cartoon channel.

  • The Amazing World of Gumball (2011 - 2023) - On the end of its sixth season (in 2019), creator Ben Bocquelet departed production of the series. Many account this as the beginning of its decline, comparing it to SpongeBob; starting off smart but eventually becoming a shadow of its former self.
