The Canadian Federal Election 2015 was held in Canada on October 19, 2015 to elect members to the House of Commons. It is known for being one of the closest elections in Canadian history, with the Liberal Party of Canada winning by just two seats and coming second to the Conservative Party in popular vote.

The election came after the end of the Conservative Party's four year term as a majority government and an election was mandatory. The Liberal Party of Canada, led by Justin Trudeau won a minority government and Trudeau became the 23rd Prime Minister of Canada.
