The 2053 Australian Federal Election was a national parliamentary election that took place on Saturday, 12 September 2053 in order to decide the members of Parliament for 2053-2056. The election was won by the 13 year incumbent, Andrew Burges and his Australian Nationalist party, against the opposition Democratic/Progressive coalition, which saw an eleven seat increase under the new leader, Donald Turnbull.
